Cristyn Bromberg Kells

Cristyn Bromberg Kells is a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Manager at the New York Genome Center since February 2014, overseeing critical projects for various stakeholders, including lab staff and clinical directors. Responsibilities encompass requirements gathering, middleware solutions for complex integrations, and backend development using technologies such as Java and Python. Kells also manages a sub-team within the Software Engineering Department and played a key role in architecting clinical data processing pipelines for the NYC Clinical Data Research Network. Prior experience includes positions at the Broad Institute and North Carolina State University, as well as software engineering roles at Vision Solutions, Inc. and Burlington Coat Factory.
