Kent Madrid possesses extensive experience in research and laboratory technologies, currently serving as an Associate Researcher at The Mount Sinai Hospital and an Associate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai since September 2018. Additionally, Kent has been a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at the New York Genome Center since July 2015 and previously held the position of Senior Research Technician at Mt Sinai Hospital Systems from January 2011 to July 2015, focusing on sequencing technologies such as Illumina platforms. Earlier experience includes a role as a Lab Technician at GAF Materials Corporation in petrochemical research and a temporary position at Colgate Palmolive in 1999. Kent Madrid earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from William Paterson University of New Jersey between 1995 and 1998.
