Saravanan Ganesan PhD is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the New York Genome Center since January 2021, focusing on single cell techniques for studying hematological malignancies under Dan Landau’s lab. Previously, Saravanan served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Institut de Recherche Saint-Louis from January 2019 to December 2020 and as a Lecturer at Christian Medical College and Hospital from April 2010 to December 2018, where involvement included expanding clinical grade mesenchymal stromal cells and conducting research. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at Dr. Vikram Mathews Lab, a Visiting Researcher at Institut de Recherche Saint-Louis, a Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Stem Cell Research, and a Summer Intern at Rajiv Gandhi Centre For Biotechnology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Christian Medical College and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, along with a Master of Science in Microbial Gene Technology from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Thiruvalluvar University.
