Shannon Pleszewicz

Director, Client Services & Events at New York Interconnect

Shannon Pleszewicz is the Director of Client Services & Events in the Marketing & Communications division of NYI. Shannon skillfully directs the development and successful execution of all NYI events. This includes internal and external events, both live and in-person, running the gamut from high-profile industry events, conferences featuring top talent, and panels and promotions (as well as the annual NYI holiday party which, with Shannon at the helm, has become legendary).

Shannon also manages all third-party relationships, negotiates vendor agreements and oversees vendor selection. She develops integrated sponsorship opportunities for advertisers and oversees cause-related company endeavors. Shannon’s expertise in communications and industry relations is essential in demonstrating the value and advantages that NYI provides for its clients and partners.

Shannon started her career on the agency side at Y&R and soon joined the Cablevision family of companies starting at Metro TV, quickly ascending the ranks at NYI throughout her 15+ years in the business.

Shannon earned her BA in Psychology. Her work contributions have been recognized through industry awards including “Best Marketing Team” from Cynopsis Media and “Best Launch of the Decade” from BizBash. Considering all the time she spends directing the spectacular events that keep NYI on the cutting edge, it’s amazing that Shannon still finds time to hit the beach, travel the globe and be the most-devoted fan that the Yankees have ever seen.
