Thomas Brook

Thomas Brook has served as the General Manager of Tax for the Europe Region at NYK Group Europe Ltd since September 2008, with previous roles including Senior Corporate Compliance Officer, where responsibilities encompassed governance of corporate ethics, compliance with antitrust laws, and serving as the primary contact for corporate compliance issues. Additionally, Thomas holds a position as a company nominated pension trustee for the NYK Line Pension Scheme, overseeing a hybrid scheme of defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Previous experience includes roles as European Tax Manager and Corporate Tax Manager, focusing on UK tax compliance, European compliance control, and various tax-related issues, along with an earlier position as a Trainee Accountant at Victor Boorman & Co. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and Finance from Oxford Brookes University and studied mathematics, chemistry, geography, and computing at Haywards Heath College.
