Lena Finnesand

Lena Finnesand has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lena currently works as the Clinical Operations Lead VB10.16/Sr CTM at Nykode Therapeutics. Prior to this, Lena served as the Head of Clinical Operations at PCI Biotech Holding ASA from 2016 to 2022, where they also held the position of Clinical Trial Manager from 2012 to 2016. Lena gained experience as a CRA (Clinical Research Associate) at Novo Nordisk A/S from 2005 to 2008, where they were involved in various responsibilities, including trial site selection, budgeting, application submission, and trial site management. Earlier in their career, Lena worked as a Departmental/Technical Engineer at Radiumhospitalet from 2002 to 2005, focusing on hereditary breast cancer research. Lena also had a brief role as a Departmental/Technical Engineer in lung cancer research at the National Institute of Occupational Health, Norway in 2002.

Lena Finnesand completed their Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2001. In the same year, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

In 1996, Lena briefly attended the University of Oslo (UiO) to complete the Examen Philosophicum course. Additionally, they studied French language course at Aix-Marseille University in 1995.

Later, from 2004 to 2010, Lena undertook individual courses at the BI Norwegian Business School, focusing on Management Accounting and Project Management.

To further develop their skills and knowledge, they partook in an Entrepreneurship program offered by Innovation Norway in Singapore in 2009.
