Carlos Barbosa

Carlos has been with Nylacast for almost two years as Research and Development Manager. He is responsible for researching and proposing new technologies, material concepts as well as developing material specifications, new test procedures and challenging engineering practices to continuously improve the product design and development process.

Prior to joining Nylacast, he has worked with OEM and Tier 1 companies including Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and Bosch, accumulating experience as R&D Engineer and Innovation Project Manager on international and inter-organizational projects.

Carlos has a range of qualifications including a MSc in Polymer Engineering & Science and a PhD in Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing.
