Basel Alnabulsi

Basel AlNabulsi, PMP, SP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they work as a Lead Engineer at Nymbus, where they manage and mentors a core banking team, overseeing the development of backend Java modules and frontend JS solutions.

Prior to this, Basel held a role as a Sr. Software Engineer at FIS where they developed and integrated systems using various technologies such as iSeries/AS400 RPGLE/CL, JAVA, Angular, DB2, and Horizon core banking APIs. Basel was also responsible for guiding and mentoring software engineers and performing architectural design for existing and new solutions.

Before FIS, Basel worked at Arab Bank for a significant period, primarily as a Software Development Manager/IT Project Manager and later as a Development/Implementation Team Leader in the IT Global department. In these roles, they managed projects throughout their entire lifecycle, collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensured quality assurance processes were in place.

Additionally, Basel worked as an IT Development and Implementation Specialist at Arab Bank, where they developed programs using iSeries/AS400 RPGLE/CLLE and VB6. Basel also designed screens and reports and utilized Misys Equation APIs for in-house applications.

Overall, Basel AlNabulsi possesses a strong background in software engineering and project management, with expertise in core banking systems and various programming languages and technologies.

Basel AlNabulsi obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Al-Balqa' Applied University BAU in 2004. In 2011, they received certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP). In 1999, they completed their Tawjeehi degree in the Scientific stream from Manhal International School. In 2020, Basel earned the Scaled Agile Framework Practitioner certification from SAFe. Additionally, they obtained the Insight Partners Manager Essentials certification from The Forem in September 2023.
