Chris Winby

Chris Winby has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chris is currently employed at Nynas AB as the Head of Project Engineering, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Nynas AB starting in March 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Chris was the Design Manager - Mechanical at Northvolt. Before that, they worked at Nynas AB as the Discipline Lead - Piping / Mechanical Engineering from 2014 to 2019. Chris began their career in 2008 at WorleyParsons, where they held various positions such as Piping Engineer, Lead Project Engineer - As-Building, Junior Piping Engineer, and Graduate Piping Engineer.

Chris Winby has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Western Australia. In addition, they also hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the same university. Chris has pursued further studies and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomechanical Engineering, again from The University of Western Australia.
