Henrik Schmidt

Henrik Schmidt is an experienced kommunikatör with a strong background in crisis communication, media relations, and educational administration. Currently serving Nynäshamns kommun since September 2019, Henrik specializes in crisis preparedness and support for children's and education departments. Prior to this role, Henrik worked at Ludvika kommun from October 2015 to September 2019, managing both internal and external communications through various digital platforms, and served as the municipality's crisis communicator. Henrik's career began in journalism at Dalarnas Tidningar/Mittmedia from December 1990 to October 2015, where responsibilities included reporting, photography, and editing. Earlier professional experiences also include teaching at Sollerö skola and a range of diverse roles in various capacities from 1982 to 1990. Henrik holds a gymnasieexamen in samhällsvetenskap from S:t Mikaelsskolan in Mora and has pursued further education at Stockholm University since 1988.
