Frederico Carneiro

Frederico Carneiro has a decade of work experience in various roles. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Math teacher, Chemistry teacher, and Substitute teacher at Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School/ Perry Traditional Academy/ Tempositions. During this time, they assessed student needs, developed curriculum, and presented information to enable the audience to understand the material and be motivated and engaged by it. Frederico also managed a range of relationships from school leadership, to professional colleagues, to parents. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Commercial Sales Analyst at CBMM, where they focused on the energy segment - the use of niobium in pipeline steels. Frederico analyzed sales data and niobium-application market segments to develop sales forecasts and determine commercial strategy. In 2018, they worked as a Special Products Sales at CBMM NORTH AMERICA, INC., where they focused on applications outside of steel. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as VP, Operations at Cambridge Advanced Materials Ltd., where they developed a program to develop an early-stage material through proof of concept, technology transfer out of academia, and the demonstration of its commercial viability. Frederico also identified and carried out discussions with potential partners and investors to collaborate and fund the development of Cambridge Advanced Materials’ technology. Frederico is currently working as a Business Development Manager at Nyobolt.

Frederico Carneiro obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. Frederico then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Education from the same university in 2011. In 2014, they completed a Master's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Columbia Engineering.
