Julian Critchlow

Julian Critchlow has been working in the business and energy industry since 1987. Julian began their career at Bain & Company as a Consultant, then progressed to Manager, Partner, and Director. In 2018, they joined the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as the Director General of Energy Transformation and Clean Growth. In 2021, they returned to Bain & Company as an Advisory Partner and also began working as a Non Executive Director for Nyobolt.

Julian Critchlow obtained their MBA from The Wharton School between 1989 and 1991, majoring in Business Administration. Prior to that, they obtained a MA/MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1983 and 1987. Julian also attended Tonbridge between 1978 and 1982.
