Jim Reeves

Jim Reeves has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Jim is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at NYOUM since January 2019. Prior to this, they served as Director at Metal Monkey Software Ltd starting from August 2013.

Jim also worked at Sensata Technologies as a Software Developer (Contract) from February 2019 to August 2019. In this role, they led the development of mobile applications for internal research and development purposes and customer demonstrations. Jim utilized a range of tools and technologies, including AWS and GCP, to process data from IoT devices.

From January 2017 to December 2018, Jim was the Head of Mobile Development at VEON, where they managed Android and iOS developers working on the Veon Mobile App platform. Jim also served as a Lead Android Developer at VEON from May 2016 to December 2016, leading internal R&D projects and assisting with recruitment activities.

Jim has experience in IT Technical Consulting and Android development at Ordnance Survey from September 2014 to April 2016. Jim was responsible for leading a multi-disciplined team, providing improvements to software development practices, and maintaining core products.

Additionally, Jim worked as a Smartphone Developer at Wunelli Limited from January 2013 to August 2013, developing vehicle telematics applications for the Android platform. Jim also held the role of Software Development Manager at Momentech Software Solutions from April 2012 to January 2013.

Before that, Jim worked as a Software Developer at Matchtech Group from May 2011 to April 2012, developing in-house desktop applications and supporting services using VB for the Group's internal administration requirements.

Jim Reeves earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Solent University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
