Alexander Ramos

Alexander Ramos, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they completed their Neurosurgery Residency at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital from 2016 to 2023. Alexander earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, between 2008 and 2016, and they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis from 2004 to 2008.
