Alexander Wei

Alexander Wei is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Medical Oncologist, and Bladder Cancer Program Lead at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where they focus on Genitourinary Cancers and phase 1 experimental therapeutics. As an attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Adjunct Professor at the University of Hawai'i Cancer Center, they contribute to medical education and patient care. Previously, Alexander completed a Master of Science in Immunology, Microbiology, and Virology at the University of Rochester and earned their Doctor of Medicine from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Their research interests include reducing overtreatment through innovative therapies such as immunotherapy and targeted agents.
