Barry Fine

Cardiologist

Barry Fine is a physician and cardiovascular biologist with extensive experience in medical education and research. They completed their MD PhD training at Columbia University and served as a research scientist at the University of Cambridge. Fine has held fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and is currently a cardiologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital while also serving as an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. They are an Esther and Oded Aboodi Scholar in Cardiogenetics and contribute to the training of future cardiology specialists as an associate program director and co-director of the clinician scientist pathway residency. Barry Fine has earned degrees in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University, as well as a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology and an MD from Columbia University.
