Baxter Allen

Baxter Allen is a physician board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and neurocritical care, currently serving as the Division Chief of Stroke and Neurocritical Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. They completed residency and fellowship training at NYP-Cornell, focusing on inpatient neurology and clinical neurophysiology, followed by a neurocritical care fellowship at UCLA. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine, Baxter has significantly contributed to building the neurocritical care service at NYP-Queens, culminating in the opening of a dedicated unit in July 2023. They direct the Neurology Subinternship and the Neurology Elective for URiM Visiting Scholars at Weill Cornell Medicine.
