Jonathan Avery

Jonathan Avery is currently the Vice Chair of Addiction Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine, where they have also served as the Program Director for the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. They hold the position of Medical Director for the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program since 2023, and they continue to work as an Attending Psychiatrist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Jonathan obtained their Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2009 and will become a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2025.
