Karen van

Karen Van is a skilled perfusionist currently employed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since May 2020, with a background in cardiovascular perfusion acquired from Upstate Medical University. Prior to this role, Karen gained valuable experience as a perfusion student at various hospitals, including St. Joseph's Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center, completing multiple rotations in the field. Karen's earlier work at Emergency Medical Associates involved patient documentation and data management, enhancing the efficiency of patient flow and care. Additionally, Karen volunteered at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, assisting perfusionists with data collection and entry. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Rutgers University, obtained in 2015.
