Lesley Covington

Lesley Covington is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety, Infection Prevention & Control at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where they oversee infection prevention and control activities across the healthcare system. With over seventeen years of experience in clinical epidemiology and hospital management, Lesley has played a pivotal role in strategic planning, compliance with regulatory standards, and outbreak investigation. Previously, they served as Director of Operations and Program Manager at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, as well as a Research Associate at the Boston Public Health Commission. Lesley earned a Master of Science in Public Health from Arcadia University and holds dual bachelor's degrees in History and Biology from Indiana University Bloomington. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor's Degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
