Robert Schwartz

Robert Schwartz is a physician scientist and currently serves as an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. With a focus on engineering tools to study cell biology, Schwartz aims to develop new technologies and treatments for liver disease. Previously, they were an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine and conducted research as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Schwartz's earlier training includes time as a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. They hold a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where their research involved differentiating multipotent adult progenitor cells into hepatocytes.
