Virendra Patel

Virendra Patel is currently the Auchincloss Endowed Professor of Surgery and Chief of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions at NewYork-Presbyterian-Columbia University Irving Medical Center. With over 11 years in academic practice, Virendra previously served at Massachusetts General Hospital for eight years before joining Columbia University in 2017. Virendra has established expertise in complex aortic disease and has led numerous presentations and publications in the field, while also pursuing an MPH at Harvard University School of Public Health. In addition to clinical excellence, Virendra is committed to surgical education and mentoring future leaders in vascular surgery.
