William Middlesworth

William Middlesworth is the R. Peter Altman, MD Professor of Pediatric Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where they have served as the Quality & Patient Safety Chair in the Department of Surgery since 1997. They also hold the position of Director for both the Pediatric ECMO and Pediatric Surgery Fellowship Programs. Concurrently, William is an Attending Pediatric Surgeon at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, also since 1997. William earned their MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, following a BA in Chemistry from Dartmouth College.
