Andrew Cooper

Andrew Cooper has extensive experience in the finance and accounting fields, starting as a Staff Accountant at Newmont Mining Corporation in 2004. Andrew then held various roles at Barrick Gold of North America, including Corporate Accounting and Compliance and Risk Management. Cooper also served as Controller, Arizona Business Unit at Hudbay Minerals Inc. before moving to Argonaut Gold Inc. where they became the Director of Finance and later Vice President Finance. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Finance at Nyrstar since 2023.

Andrew Cooper completed their Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2000 to 2004. Andrew later pursued a Master of Business Administration in Accounting at Westminster University from 2007 to 2010. Andrew also holds a CPA certification from the State of Utah.
