Guido Janssen

Guido joined Nyrstar in 2001, was Head of Leaching and Roasting and held several management positions. He was General Manager for Nyrstar Netherlands in the period 2014-2016 and switched to General Manager Belgium in the period 2016-2019. In 2018 he took on the role as Vice President for European Operations. Since early 2020 also the Clarksville smelter in USA is reporting to Guido. Before joining Nyrstar Guido worked as Technology Manager for an innovative waste water treatment company doing projects all over the world. Guido holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
