Bob Bloom

Director Data Center Services at NYSERNet

Bob Bloom has extensive experience in data center services and management, currently serving as the Director of Data Center Services at NYSERNet since September 2006. Bloom also owns Personal Micro Systems, a position held since 1977. Previous roles include Manager of East Coast Data Center Operations & Facilities at Navisite, and Sr. Network Engineer/Sr. Project Manager at Applied Theory, where responsibilities began in February 1999. Earlier, Bloom held senior positions at Gaylord Bros., Inc. and Gaylord Information Systems, along with managerial roles at Mid York Library System and Mohawk Valley Community College, contributing to various technical and operational functions throughout their career.
