Assistant Director Of Data Analysis And Innovation at New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF)

Jeff Silino has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Claims Service Representative at the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) from January 2011 to January 2015. In this position, they were responsible for handling claims and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

After that, Jeff joined the Syracuse City School District as a Math Teacher from September 2008 to January 2011.

From January 2015 to May 2017, Jeff returned to NYSIF as a Claims Service Representative 2. Here, they supervised a team of Claims Service Representatives, resolved complex claims, and coordinated training for staff.

Following this, Jeff took on the role of a Claims Service Representative 3 at NYSIF from June 2017 to November 2022. In this position, they played a crucial role in the development and implementation of workers' compensation claims management policies and procedures. Jeff also led various projects, including claims management systems upgrades and predictive analytics.

Finally, Jeff assumed the role of Assistant Director of Data Analysis and Innovation at NYSIF in November 2022, where they currently work.

Jeff Silino attended St. Lawrence University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study at St. Lawrence University was Math/Economics Combined. Later, in 2007 and 2008, Jeff Silino attended Canisius University to pursue Secondary Mathematics Education Certification. Jeff completed the program and obtained a certification as a Certified Math Teacher, Grades 7-12.
