Tayeb Sherif

Tayeb Sherif is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and financial operations. Currently serving as Treasurer at the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) since February 2019, Tayeb has held several key positions, including Senior Finance Manager at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from April 2015 to June 2018, and Treasury Operations Manager and Treasury Accounting Manager at Mubadala Development Company between October 2009 and April 2015. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Treasury Manager at Aviva from October 2006 to October 2009 and as Group and Treasury Accountant at ICI from September 2001 to October 2006. Tayeb holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and attended Westminster School for earlier education.
