Julie Munoz Msw

Julie Munoz, MSW, LICSW, has extensive experience in mental health services, currently serving as an Outpatient and DBT Therapist at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. since August 2018. Prior roles include Clinical Manager at Avivo and Clinical Therapist at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge, where assessments and continuing care were provided in a residential setting. Julie also held the position of Program Manager III/Clinical Supervisor at People Incorporated Mental Health Services, overseeing clients with severe mental illness. Additional experience includes teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at St. Kates, working as an In-home Therapist, and providing advocacy for survivors at Sexual Assault Services Dakota County. Julie facilitated psychotherapy groups for teens at Face to Face Health and Counseling and has a background in education as a substitute teacher. Julie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Metro State University.
