R. John Sutherland

R. John Sutherland, PhD, MHA has extensive work experience in the field of mental health and addiction services. R. John currently holds the position of Vice President of Addiction Services at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. Since 2011, they have been a Teaching Specialist at the University of Minnesota, where they teach courses on mental health, addiction, and clinical applications of prolonged exposure to PTSD. Dr. Sutherland has also served as a Licensed Psychologist at BAY PINES VA HOSPITAL, providing consultations and assessments for military personnel and veterans dealing with sexual trauma. R.
