Sarah Nelson

Sarah Nelson is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in outpatient therapy and advocacy. Currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. since May 2022, Sarah has previously worked as an Outpatient and Family Therapist at Lakeland Mental Health Center Inc. from November 2018 to April 2022. Additionally, Sarah has contributed as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Lutheran Social Services- Luther Hall from August 2017 to May 2019. As a Patient Speaker and Professional Advocate for Sanofi Genzyme since December 2016, Sarah shares personal experiences of living with Fabry Disease at conferences aimed at educating medical professionals, patients, and families. Academically, Sarah holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Communications from Concordia College.
