Amy Zerba is a Deputy Editor for Newsroom Development and Support, focusing on coaching editors and reporters on digital tools and developing workshops to enhance editing and reporting skills. They previously served as Senior Editor for Digital Storytelling and Training at The New York Times, guiding writers and editors in various storytelling forms. Amy has experience as an Associate Producer for CNN.com and held positions as a Copy Editor and Designer at various publications, including the Austin American-Statesman and South Florida Sun Sentinel. They taught multimedia storytelling and visual journalism at the University of Florida and have a diverse educational background in English and Journalism, pursuing a Ph.D. in Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin.
