Kyle Betts

Kyle Betts is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as a Senior Staff Editor at The New York Times since September 2021. Previously, Kyle held significant roles at the Chicago Tribune Media Group, including Senior Audience Editor and Digital News Editor, where responsibilities included supervising audience engagement strategies and curating online content. Additionally, Kyle has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, teaching interactive journalism, and has contributed to various media organizations, including Groupon, the Chicago Sun-Times, and others. Kyle holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
