Leslie Wayne is a seasoned journalist and academic with extensive experience in business journalism. Currently serving as a Contributing Writer for The New York Times since February 1981, Leslie has also held teaching positions as a Business Journalism Professor at Columbia Journalism School and New York University since January 2011. Additional roles include Senior Writer at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists from May 2013 to December 2014, and Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University in 2012-2013. Leslie's editorial experience includes a stint as Senior Editor at 100Reporters and being the Donald W. Reynolds Visiting Professor at Arizona State University in 2010. An early career highlight includes being a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Business Journalism at Columbia University from 1979 to 1980. Leslie Wayne holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
