Michael Keller

Michael Keller is a seasoned journalist specializing in emerging technology, currently serving as a reporter at The New York Times since January 2018. Keller co-founded csv soundsystem, an informal data journalism collective, in June 2012. Prior to The New York Times, Keller worked as a data and graphics journalist at Bloomberg LP, and contributed to Al Jazeera America's interactive multimedia team, where responsibilities included pitching, reporting, designing, writing, and programming interactive projects. Additionally, Keller held the position of senior data reporter at Newsweek and The Daily Beast, leading workshops on digital journalism, and served as an investigative reporter at The New York World. Academic credentials include a Master's in Digital Media Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Comparative Literature and Psychology from Georgetown University.
