Mike Abrams

Mike Abrams is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Deputy Editor for Trust at The New York Times, where they lead initiatives to enhance trust in independent journalism. They previously held various positions at The New York Times, including Deputy Standards Editor and Director of Journalism Practices and Principles, where they focused on training, ethics, and editorial standards. Before joining The New York Times in 2004, Mike worked as an Assignment Editor and General Assignment Reporter at The Virginian-Pilot from 1997 to 2004. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Penn State University in 1994, where they also served as Editor in Chief of The Daily Collegian.
