Nathan Willis is the Senior Staff Editor of The Washington Bureau at The New York Times. Nathan started their journalism career as an intern at The Washington Post in 2001 and was later promoted to Copy Editor. In 2004, they moved to The Dallas Morning News as a Copy Editor before returning to The Washington Post in May of the same year as a Multiplatform Editor. Nathan left The Washington Post in 2012 to join The Motley Fool as their Premium Services Editor. Nathan remained with The Motley Fool until 2015 when they joined The New York Times.

Nathan Willis earned their Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Kansas.
