Randy Gener

Randy Gener is an accomplished journalist and media specialist with extensive experience in both reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as a News & Features Reporter for The New York Times, Randy Gener has also contributed to National Public Radio, The Star Ledger, and Daily News since May 2004. In addition, Randy holds a position with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, focusing on partnership creation, event production, and media program operations since December 2003. Previously, as Senior Editor of American Theatre Magazine from August 2001 to December 2013 at Theatre Communications Group, Randy directed and managed editorial operations for a prominent nonprofit publication. Randy’s earlier career includes roles at Village Voice Media and Boston Consulting Group, where strategic management and arts criticism were key responsibilities. An educational background includes a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nevada, Reno.
