Robinson Meyer currently serves as the Founding Executive Editor at Heatmap News since December 2022 and also contributes as an Opinion Writer for The New York Times beginning in June 2023. Previously, Robinson worked at The Atlantic from August 2013 to June 2023 as a Staff Writer and Contributing Writer, focusing on climate change, energy, and the coronavirus, while also producing breaking news and feature reports. Additionally, Robinson co-founded The COVID Tracking Project, serving as Associate Editor from March 2020 to June 2021, and worked as a Visiting Fellow in Journalism at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago from September 2019 to June 2021.
