Sam Jacoby

Sam Jacoby is an experienced professional in the fields of software engineering, interactive news development, and media innovation. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor in Graphics at The New York Times since September 2015, Sam's previous roles include Senior Software Engineer and Interactive News Developer. Prior experience includes positions at Formlabs as a Web Developer and Marketing Lead, and research work at MIT Media Lab focusing on conductive inks and interface design. Additional roles encompass technical support at Harvard University, apprenticeship at the Gutenberg Museum, programming for Threepress Consulting and Opower, and reporting for The Tico Times. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Media Arts & Sciences from MIT and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and History from Harvard University.
