Sam M. is a seasoned audio producer and program manager with extensive experience in the media and creative industries. Currently serving as a Senior Producer for Audio at The New York Times since September 2017, Sam has also held various roles within the T Brand Studio, New York Times’ award-winning brand marketing unit. As a Co-Founder of Help Yourself Records, an independent record label based in Seattle and NYC, Sam oversees projects for several artists. Prior experience includes producing at Column Five and coordinating film permits for the City of Seattle's Office of Film + Music. Sam began a career in media as General Manager and Music Director at Rainy Dawg Radio while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the University of Washington.
