Simar Bajaj

Simar Bajaj is a New York Times Fellow, currently writing about health and wellness after being selected as one of 30 fellows from a pool of 3000 applicants. They hold a Bachelor's degree from Harvard and are pursuing a Master's degree in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford. Simar was recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30, and has served as a Teaching Fellow and Research Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they published over 20 manuscripts and led a summer internship program. They founded That Medic Network, hosting a podcast that features prominent healthcare figures, and have held internships and fellowships at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and STAT, where they covered significant health policy topics.
