Stephen Merelman has extensive experience in journalism, holding various editorial and leadership positions across notable publications. Beginning as a reporter for The Alabama Journal and Montgomery Advertiser from 1990 to 1994, Merelman served as Montgomery bureau chief at The Mobile Press-Register from 1994 to 1995. A significant tenure at Bloomberg LP from 2010 to 2016 included roles as states and municipalities editor and team leader for states and cities, overseeing major news events and reporting teams.
