Alanna Kate Cruz

Alanna Kate Cruz, MS, MA, CCC-SLP, IBCLC, currently serves as a Doctoral Intern at the Tennessee Department of Health and as a Program Manager at the Center for Health Equity, Education, and Advocacy (CHEEA) at Cambridge Health Alliance. In addition, Alanna is the Community Outreach Lead for the Physician Outreach Project at Feeding Matters and holds positions as Assistant Editor for the Journal of Human Lactation and Lactation Consultant at The Lactation Network. Alanna also works as a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist at NYU Langone Health and is a member of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Governing Council of the American Public Health Association. Academic roles include Co-Instructor at Boston University School of Public Health and Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Alanna has a Doctor of Public Health degree in progress, alongside multiple Master's degrees in public health and speech-language pathology, and is engaged in a Lactation Consultant certification program.
