Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez has extensive experience in histology and pathology, having held various positions in reputable organizations since 1998. Currently serving as a Clinical Histology Technologist at NYU Langone Health since July 2019, Carlos Lopez is responsible for performing complex histological procedures on surgical specimens, encompassing tasks such as microtomy, embedding, and staining. Previous roles include Histology Technologist at ProHEALTH and Histotechnologist at Acupath Laboratories, Inc., where responsibilities involved specimen grossing, embedding, and preparation for histological examination. Carlos Lopez has a strong foundation in grossing techniques from positions held at institutions such as LI Path, CareMount Medical, and Quest Diagnostics, and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Police Science from John Jay College (CUNY).
