David Barbee

David Barbee serves as the Director of Technology and Innovation and Director of Physics at NYU Langone Health since July 2015, having previously held positions as Assistant Director of Physics and Faculty Medical Physicist there. Prior to this role, David worked as a Medical Physicist at Turville Bay MRI & Radiation Oncology Center from August 2014 to July 2015, and as a Medical Physicist II at North Shore-LIJ Health System from March 2013 to August 2014. David's earlier experience includes serving as Interim Chief of Physics and Medical Physicist at Long Island Radiation Therapy from October 2009 to March 2013. David Barbee earned a PhD in Medical Physics from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (2004-2009) and a BA in Physics from Clark University (2000-2004).
