Jim Yang

Jim Yang currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Service in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician, Regional Vice President for New York City at the Committee of Interns and Residents/SEIU Healthcare, and as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2019 to 2023. Jim has also been involved in orthopaedic research, served as the Medical Student Clinic Lead at CommunityHealth, and held leadership positions at Rush University Medical Center, including President of the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. Jim's academic credentials include an MD from Rush University, a degree in Economics from Northwestern University, and currently pursuing an MBA at NYU Stern School of Business focusing on Healthcare, Finance, and Sustainability.
