Reva Shenwai is a seasoned research scientist currently working at NYU Langone Health, following a role as Bioinformatics Research Associate II at Tenaya Therapeutics, where semi and fully automated bioinformatics pipelines were designed for RNA-seq data analyses. Previous experience includes a bioinformatics co-op at EMD Serono, Inc., where differential gene expression studies supported cancer immunotherapy insights, and a co-op at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc., focused on immune cell profile analyses through single-cell RNA-seq. Reva has participated in and organized hackseq, Canada’s inaugural genomics-focused hackathon, demonstrating leadership and team-building skills through various roles. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The University of British Columbia.
