Rhett Tanselle

Rhett Tanselle is an experienced healthcare administrator with a strong background in strategy and management. Currently serving as the Department Administrator for the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Division Administrator for the Department of Pediatrics at NYU Langone Health since February 2017, Rhett has developed and executed workforce transformation strategies to support the state's Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. Prior roles include finance management and operational analysis at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where significant revenue cycle improvements and grant acquisitions were achieved. Rhett also holds an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business and has participated in international business education at London Business School. A Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington complements Rhett's diverse educational background.
