Salman Punekar

Salman Punekar is an accomplished medical professional with a robust background in medicine and healthcare finance. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health since July 2021, Salman has previously held faculty positions at Yale University School of Medicine and practiced as a Hematology-Oncology/Intensive Care Hospitalist at Yale New Haven Health. Additionally, Salman has experience in investment banking with WBB Securities LLC and asset management at Merrill Lynch. A well-educated individual, Salman attained a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at New York University, alongside extensive training in Internal Medicine and Oncology at Yale and the University of Pennsylvania.
